# KYC & Account Setup

To start participating in any Wagon Network products, users need to create an account and complete a simple KYC (Know Your Customer) process. This ensures platform compliance, transparency, and user protection.

## Step 1: Sign Up

Wagon Network uses **Particle Network Wallet** integration, allowing users to register using:

* Google or Social Login (no crypto knowledge required)
* MetaMask or other crypto wallets (for Web3-native users)

> **Tip:** Social login users get a free wallet with gas fees subsidized by the platform.

## Step 2: Account Creation

Upon login, a secure non-custodial wallet will be created and linked to your account.

* For **Google/Social users**, the wallet is generated automatically via Particle.
* For **crypto wallet users**, you simply connect your existing wallet.

## Step 3: KYC Verification

To ensure regulatory compliance, users must complete a one-time KYC process:

* Fill basic personal information
* Upload government-issued ID (e.g. passport, KTP)

Most verifications are processed within minutes. In rare cases, it may take up to 24 hours.
